Surreal photography

plates.gif A very surreal collection of black and white photography. I especially like the mowed carpet and the plates in the drain ones. {Link}

Uncomfortable shoes

shoe.jpgThese Japanese and Italian shoes represent the extremes that people will go to for fashion. I suppose I can see the style in them… Although I imagine they are guaranteed to smuch the wearer’s toes by a good few inches.{Link}

Unbelievable memory

memory.gif

This is about the coolest feet of the human brain I have ever heard of. Stephen Wiltshire displays amazing photographic memory as he attempts to sketch a large panorama of Rome after a 45 minute helicopter flight – down to every little window and side street. When he was 11 he was able to draw a perfect aerial sketch of London after one helicopter ride. Absolutely amazing! {Link}

Crazy Firefox

firefox.gifAnyone who uses Firefox will be impressed by the number of ad-on extensions this person has managed to install. I imagine it doesn’t enhance performance much. {Link}

Chad Vader – Day Manager

These videos are riding the crest of the new wave of “homemade” videos made famous by YouTube. They are making more and more episodes. It is actually filmed in the Whole Foods coop in Madison … we can call that local! {Link}

Alphabet Critique

alpha.gifSomebody spent a great deal of time and creative writing energy critiquing every letter of the alphabet. It is very creative and quite entertaining to read. I like how opinionated the author is over some of the letters. {Link}

Amazon milk reviews

milk.gifAmazon’s customer reviews can be very helpful when choosing a product. However when it comes to a gallon of Tuscan Whole Milk, reviews adopt a whole new purpose. Some of these reviews had me in fits of laughter. You can read about how somebody tried to patch their roof with Tuscan Whole Milk:

“I had a problem where my roof was leaking. I poured some Tuscan Whole Milk over it to seal it up and it just flowed right into the hole and didn’t do anything. I now have milk constantly dripping down from the ceiling and it has stained the drywall as well. The milk trapped in the ceiling is now rancid and smells horrible. It has also induced a pest infestation problem. The pest control company won’t deal with it because of the odor is unbearable in the house. My wife and children are now leaving me as well. This product has ruined my life. Do not buy this product, I suggest some roof caulking or tar instead.”
